Conversation I just had.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

This is the same friend that went and bought a salvage title 2012 Civic after I specifically told him to buy anything else. So 100% chance the won’t be taking my advice.

I don’t know, cutting springs sounds exactly like the kind of thing someone who bought a salvage title Civic would do.

Just throw some washers on the three other strut towers.

I was on the SW forum when this first happened. Pretty hilarious stuff.

I feel like I have died a little inside. And I thought the Accord with it’s springs replaced with a stack of washers on r/justrolledintotheshop was bad. This makes that look like F1 level engineering.

The most astounding part was when he tried to defend it as somehow not horrifically dangerous.

The StanceWorks forum back in the 2010-2013 years was a sight to behold. Not much of a stance guy myself, but there were some really talented craftswork folks on there. And also a lot of well...that other stuff.
